The daily, month-to-date and quarter-to-date percent change fields in the end-of-day data files for the FSPI NHL Team Indexes from April 1, 2026 and the FSPI MLB Team Indexes from October 1, 2026 were incorrect on Calculation Days when an index had activity on the first day of a month or quarter. The percent change figures displayed on the futuresports.com ticker on those days were affected in the same way.
Official End of Day Index Values, including open, high, low and close values, were not affected, and no index levels are corrected as a result of this error. This notice is separate from the Error Notice of October 2, 2026 for the FSPI MLB Team Indexes.
The error arose in the calculation of the period-to-date fields, which took the close on the first Calculation Day of the period as the base value rather than the close immediately preceding the period, and in the daily field, which used the prior unadjusted level rather than the post-milestone adjusted level as its base.
A corrected calculation will enter production following testing, and a further notice will confirm the date. The ticker will display correct percent change figures from that date. Corrected end-of-day data files for the affected Calculation Days will be republished following verification, and historical end-of-day data files for the affected Calculation Days will be withdrawn ahead of republication. A further notice will be issued on republication.
